It's a GIRL!

I have a good friend who has been performing ultrasounds on me. A few weeks ago she called me a told me to come in for an ultrasound to determine the sex of the baby. I never thought I'd find out without Devin there. But since it was so sudden and he was already at work, I thought I'd go without him then surprise him with the news. So that night after Devin got off work this is what he came home to. He was so shocked. He thought at first I was lying so he made me call my mom to tell her. She wasn't able to answer her phone so then he made me call my sister. It was great. And once it sunk in he was thrilled with the news.

Now that Crew has to share a room with his sister, I'm going to have to figure out how to mix boy stuff with girl stuff. What do I do? Half of the room in one and half in the other. She has to have her girly stuff and I have to be able to decorate with girly stuff. If anyone has suggestions for me please share.

Belnaps congrats. It's Woody. My wife is always sneaking on to your page Rachel. She is a huge fan. It's funny I just found her on it again, so that is why I'm leaving you a message and thought it would be funny to tell you that.

Oh! Congrats! I am so excited for you. And girls are SO much fun. I know you've heard it before-but you'll be amazed at the difference between her and Crew!

Can't wait to see you at Liza's shower!

You will love it!! I have loved having a boy then a girl :) CONGRATS! I was going to have the kids share a room and then I was just going to get some coordinating bedding from pottery barn or something and just have them blend a bit. Like have his have bright green and blue and hers have bright green and pink. I don't know if that helps at all. I'm so excited for you guys :)

I'm SO excited for you guys. Congrats on the girl news! Knowing your love for fashion, she is going to be one cute little lady! Girls I will say cost me about twice as much as my little man but who can resist all of the accessories that come with little girls: the sweaters, bows, tights, shoes, bracelets, dresses, and everything else. As for the mixing of the room dilemma, I faced that same thing. Luckily I found the same bedding in blue for Lincoln so they somewhat go together. You could find a cute bedding with reds in it to match his stuff, but pink is hard to resist, at least for me. I'm so excited for you guys if you can't tell. After hearing it all the time after we had Lincoln... now you will have one of each!

Congrats on a baby girl! How exciting. My cousin had a girl and boy in the same room too ... she did 1/2 girl 1/2 boy. I thought it was going to be all mismatched, but it turned out cute! Good luck.

Holy crap....we can't have girls? Well we can, but it is only one to a family (unless you adopt). If you are keeping with the Nelson/Hill/Belnap tradition this will be your only one. What I think is totally great is that your baby and Adam's baby will have each other! Nothing cooler than that!!!!!!

Rachel- Congrats on the little girl!!! She is going to be a doll! Hope you don't mind me blogging in on you! I saw Eliza's wedding announcement on my mom's fridge... so cute...love that girl! Your boy is adorable! My sister's boy and girl shared a room for a while and she just got coordinating bedding from Pottery Barn Kids and then decorated one half girl and one half boy and they loved it! We will have to do that if Mason gets a sister next and I went on to check and they have pretty cute sets that match each other! Congrats Again! ~Janell
