OUCH!!

I'm always talking about how much Crew loves his books, right! Well, this proves how much! We got home the other night and the first thing he did was run for his books. The books are kept in a wooden box that he managed to land on just right. Not bad for his first black eye eh!

Christmas

Being only one month old last Christmas we didn't do much celebrating with Crew. This year was much more exciting, even though he still didn't quite understand what was going on. Sleeping in until 10 is a rare occasion for all of us and will probably become the last time we do on Christmas morning.

The Big 2

Dev and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary on the 20th. Dev decided he wanted some new clothes to wear to dinner so he went to GAP and picked out this outfit. Doesn't he look dashingly handsome! What a lucky girl I am. It's hard for me to believe it has only been two years. We've known each other for so long and we already have a 13 month old Devin Jr.

Winter Wonderland

Devin took Crew out for is first winter experience. As you can see he wasn't to thrilled about it at first. I'm not sure if it was because he couldn't move in all his snow clothes or because the snow is still foreign to him.

Birthday Boy

This bus was from Aunt Eliza. Crew picked it out all on his own. He can ride on it, push it, and dance to it.

We got him the red Dirt Devil vacuum. Vacuums are his favorite thing.

Of course dad had to get him something to do with sports. And Crew loves it.

Notice the Elephant slippers. He got those too.

More Birthday Pics

Glenda taught and helped me make the cakes.

Crew didn't quite go after it like we thought or hoped he would.

But he did enjoy the taste.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CREW!

I can't believe that 1 year has already passed. It seems like just yesterday that we brought Crew into our home. He has been nothing but a blessing and more fun than Dev and I ever imagined.

He has learned so much from his father. Including hard work. He's a great helper.


I love to read to Crew and I love it even more that he lets me and loves it too.


His favorite is when dad gets home from school or work. Forget mom and all her kisses it's boy's time.

I will be home in time to feed you Dinner!

Crew i know that this picture was taken shortly after I feed you dinner for the last time. I know that according to your sweet Mother this would be the last time I get to feed you because of the mess we made. But since I was gone for a few days maybe Mom will let us have some fun one more time.

I dont know what to say here

This picture was taken recently. Now that the weather is cold we have to cover up Crew's feet with socks and shoes. As you can tell from the picture Crew isn't to sure about this new procedure.

Nothin' but TROUBLE!

How many times in one day can you say NO to a child? I think it's about every other word out of my mouth. I use to think it would be so much easier to have Crew walking but boy was I wrong. Every cabinet has to be opened and every drawer emptied. He loves to watch the look that creeps on my face when he's getting into something he knows he's not suppose to. He loves to keep us on our toes.

Another day with BOB

Crew and I were able to enjoy another wonderful day in the sun. BOB, our running stroller, was a huge part of our summer and fall. After taking Crew out in him nearly every day this summer, Crew took one of his final rides today. I'm not sure what we'll do summer of 08'. I can barely run while pushing Crew now. He's really going to miss it.

Thanks so much to Mama and Papa Belnap who gave us the stroller. Crew has been able to see and experience many great things from his rides.

Happy Halloween

We got together with some of my family to celebrate Halloween. This being the third time Crew has had to wear his costume. The good sport that he is he hardly fussed at all. And as you can see the head had to be modified with extra velcro and elastic in order to fit his well rounded head. As for Dev and I, we were tourist on a safari checking the hippo out. Were looking forward to next year when Crew understands the whole trick-or-treating thing better.

Adventures in San Diego

Other than the fires, Crew got to experience the beach. Which didn't excite him like I thought it would. The water was pretty cold, he was a little weirded out by the sand but the sounds of the ocean put him right to sleep. He was able to meet lots of new family members and enjoy a couple of warm days in the sun. He's moving right along with his walking and starting to jabber more and more each day.

First Hair Cut

Monday night Dev and I decided to finally attempt to cut Crews hair. Surprisingly enough he sat rather still and even let us use the buzzers. The top got cut shorter than we would have liked I can no longer put it in a mo hawk, but we were just happy to get the job done.

Jackson Hole

Crew took his first trip to Jackson Hole, WY on Tuesday with his grandma and aunts. Uncle Jairus lives up there so we decided to visit him and enjoy a beautiful day. Crew loved playing in the leaves.

Cell Phone Pictures

Rachel and I decided one day that we needed to get the pictures that we had of Crew off our Cell phones and onto a computer and eventually backed up. As you will see these pictures are priceless.
