Eliza has recently moved down to Houston to be closer to Jason (her fiance). Work was cancelled for him all week due to the hurricane. Soooooo, they jumped on a plane Wednesday night and came to visit us.
To feed Crews obsession with planes and choppers they brought him a remote controlled helicopter. He went crazy over it and hasn't put it down since.
Thursday night we went to the L.A. County Fair.
The greasy food was delicious. At least the boys thought so. Me and Eliza decided to go for something a little safer.
This is for Grandpa VanderSloot. Crew loved it!
Crew was two inches too short for the rides. So we spent most of our time watching him attempt to throw ping pong balls into bowls. One of which he made. He couldn't have been happier.
This was his prize.
There's nothing like an IN N OUT cheeseburger-animal style.
And nothing like the feeling of the sun, sound of the ocean and joy of having loved ones around.

I'm so jealous that you were all able to spend time together!!! Thanksgiving can't come soon enough! (besides... by then I'll be even closer to have this baby!!)

Hello from a rather hot and sunny South Africa. I am so glad that I have managed to track you down. Your blog is amazing. I am hoping to ahve ours up and running soon. Devin, we miss you and talk about you often. You little one is so cute. Can you believe that Dylan is turning 14 on Firday 26th, September and that he is beconing a teacher. When you were out here he was still in primary and a little snot nosed kid. Kev and I are doing well and are now in the Florida ward, which we love. wow how time flies. I swear it was just yesterday when crew was so tiny at adam's wedding. looks like you three are enjoying L.A., don't you love fair time. My only regret every year is that I didn't eat more food!
I just love you guys!!! Your little guy is so tan. I saw Sadie the other day. She looks so happy. I am excited for all of you to be so happy. Next time you see Eliza tell her Hi for me.

Its always fun when Liza comes to visit. I'm sure you guys are loving California. As far as Dubai, I'm sure you would survive! It's an amazing place and there is so much to do. It's the same with any other place in the world..it just takes time to get adjusted!
