We didn't take any pictures this weekend. Rachel kept repeating that as we drove home from Uncle Bobby's house in Glendale. The picture above was taken over the last few weeks. I love my family.
Saturday Crew and I essentially spent the whole day together as Rachel spent time with her Mom and Aunts. It was great. We went to our cousin's little league practice. Which was a lot of fun. Later that night we went to a block party in Glendale with Uncle Bobby, Aunt Cathy and their kids. The block parties in LA county are definitely different than block parties in Bonneville county. The food was unique and covered all genres. The Persian food was the best. Crew of course stole the show and received a lot of attention. It was clear after watching Crew at the little league practice and the block party that he wants to be a big boy so he can ride bikes, skateboards, and play sports like the rest of the guys. I realized that moment is going to come faster than I realized as I watched Crew run up and down the street at the block party.

Please tell me that crew is sitting at a little table and chair and not that he has gotten that big? Don't you just love daddy and son time? We love it around here.
my friend odette -- who is armenian -- grew up in glendale. she is always telling me I need to go with her back home sometime, just to try the food.
