Weather report: Mild winds, mostly sunny, highs in the 40's.
Compared to what we've experienced all winter, the forecast made for a fairly nice day.
Devin decide it was a day worthy enough to pull out his prized possessions . I just love the rugged man in him.

A Day Spent Indoors
Crew and I have become very good at entertaining ourselves. The bursts from the car into and out of Wal-Mart are the only times spent outside. Here is a handful of Crew's favorite indoor activities.
What's not shown are the Falls, the Fits and the Farts.

Sunny Getaway!
My family decided to run our first 10K of the summer in Pasadena, CA. Crew loved being outside and in his stroller again. He'd wave when we'd pass groups of people as if we were in a parade. It was a pleasant taste of our new home and were anxious to return.
Devin ended in 2nd place for his age group! Way To Go Babe!
The Easter Bunny showed up at my parents house and hid baskets for all the kids. Then left candy and eggs all over the basement.
Crew would run to a piece of candy throw it in his mouth, wrapper and all. We'd take it from him. He'd run to the next piece throw it in his mouth and we'd take it from him then he'd run to the next piece and you get the idea . He even bit into the egg.

Tournament Time
March Madness has always been something to look forward to. Every year I have entered a bracket challenge and I have never won such a challenge. One year I did win a prize. I won the sound track to Dumb & Dumber. The prize was for the lowest or dumbest score! Thanks Kim Lee! Good times. After being the dumbest I have learned that the best way to fill out a March Madness tournament bracket. The method is to pick the teams you want to win. For years I would cheer against my favorite or preferred teams because I wanted my bracket to be more accurate. Now I enjoy the games much more because my bracket and teams I support are synchronized. Some call it dumb & dumber, others say it is wishful thinking. I will never win a bracket challenge this way , unless BYU makes it to the Final Four! Go Cougars! There is a good chance they will loose tonight but at least I can say I never bet against my favorite team! To all those that do bet against their favorite teams you are simply a sellout! How do you like them apples?

SOLD!!!
My dad's Bull Sale is something we look forward to every year. From spending time with family to dressing up in our cowboy/cowgirl gear, listening to the auctioneers (even though you don't understand what you are listening to), eating coleslaw, baked beans and beef sandwiches, and chasing around a 16 month old who is captivated by the animals. It's all a part of living in IDAHO.

He's Back!
The energy has returned and the chase is on once again. The break was nice while it lasted but my busy child is back to doing what he does best.
The Ice Machine! He runs to the cupboard, grabs a cup, runs over to the ice machine and plays in it until he gets caught.
I ask myself every time why I place him behind the wheel in the first place. Good luck pulling him away once you've put him there.

Flash Mob: BYU-Idaho vs Buffers Templar
People are mean. Take this video for example. We have a group of people living in fantasy land where they pretend they are knights, warriors, creatures and whatever else they can possibly imagine. Just let the Templar combat with nerf weapons in peace... Well as you can see the mobsters thought it would be funny to attack them with pillows and pretend they lost the fight. A second thought suggests that mobsters weren't so mean. For instance the members of Buffers Templar had the most excitement of their lives since the last volume release of Harry Potter. I think my brothers and I should do this to the group in Idaho Falls. However I am afraid I might loose Adam and Andrew to a group like Buffers Templar

Thank You Baby Tylenol
My poor baby has been sick now for 2 weeks with a cold and as of Monday, ear infections. Aside from the helpless feeling you experience when you have a sick child there has been an upside. All Crew has wanted to do is snuggle his mom. Ahhh, it's like my wild child turned into a new born again. The last few days have been pretty relaxing. I do miss my spirited little boy and I'm sure he'll be back in no time.
