Warm Weather Continued

Warm Weather

We have been spending a lot of time outside. Yesterday it was 82 degrees and today is just as hot. Crew is getting used to the running stroller and he really enjoyed his off road trek deep into Snow Canyon. Crew is showing off his new sunglasses and hat. He also wanted to show his grandparent’s his new trick of sitting up all on his own. We are really excited for the coming weekend and having family finally come to St. George to see us. We miss you all and love you.

Trouble with Mama

Crew is enjoying the great weather and Grandma Nelson's backyard. He also got a new high chair, and got in trouble with his mama. Rachel stepped out of the room and came back and caught him red handed. Thats my Boy!

Pictures! Its about time.

Some of the pictures you see are of Crew while we were driving from SLC to St. George. One of the pictures Crew is showing that he can share. I.E. He sucks on his feet then thinks that I would like a turn. I politely declined. The other pictures were taken in Grandpa and Grandma Nelson's front and back yard minutes ago during my lunch break. Right now work is going great. My job is really interesting. I am given an assignment that the development needs in order to move on. Most of the time I have no previous knowledge on the topic then I research and provide possible solutions then we decide on what we want and go from there. Things I am working on right now: Waste and Construction Management Issues, an on site office building for our employees, and our development trail systems.

St. George

Its been a long time since I made a post. The reason for the delay is because our current internet situation. St. George is awesome! Rachel, Crew and I love it here. Crew really enjoys the warm weather by sitting in the back yard and going for rides in his stroller. I am enjoying work. Lately I have been working on the upcoming builder agreements we are going to make as well as waste management systems and other ideas that can generate income once the dirt in our project is gone. Tomorrow I hope to post some pictures.

Darn those SHOTS!

Crew had his 4 month check up this morning where he recieved his second set of shots. And unlike the first set, I was pleasantly suprised to hear only a whimper as the nurses shoved those nasty needles into his legs. I can't help but love the expression that comes over his face when he's in distress. Thanks to mom and dad he has a bottom lip that curls just perfect to form the most precious crying face. And with only a few tears that followed he was back to smiling within minutes. His weight is now 17.8 (90%), height 26.5 (95%), and head 17.5 (95%). Our little plump of delight is as healthy as can be.

KFC Snackers make me giggle or jiggle.

I would just like to be on record that I really enjoy the KFC snacker so much that I ate three of them. I know some of you think this might be random and irrelevant information or a confession, however after being at school all day crunching trigonomic equations and only having KFC snackers I really began to value that awesome $0.99 sandwich. On to more important news I think Rachel and I experienced a real Crew laugh for the first time. We were at Rachel's parents house and Crew and I were on the couch. I was singing, and talking to him. Then out of his excitement and my suprise Crew started to giggle. It was so cute. I'm not sure if it was my smile, crazy facial expressions or the song I was siniging to him...99 bottles of beer on the wall...that made him laugh. hahah. I am a terrible father maybe after today I will change the words of the song to:

99 KFC snakers on the wall, 99 KFC Snackers on the wall, Order one to go, stuff it in my face, 98 KFC snakers on the wall!

As I was saying Crew giggled for Rachel and I and it was so cute that I almost cried. The count down for St. George continues.

Finals

The excitement and good old Idaho spring snow is in the air. That is right it is finals week at BYU-I. With the late snow that fell on my face on the way to class the desire and excitement of moving to southern Utah was on the rise. The plan is that Rachel, Crew and I will load the Subaru and start the drive to St. George on Thursday. However before that day comes four finals must be taken, the sofit & fascia on Mom and Dad's house must be finsihed, and Rachel's birthday present must be purchased. Any Ideas?

Old Mc Devin

Old Mc Devin has a farm
E-I-E-I-O!

And on his farm he has a chick
E-I-E-I-O!

With a cook, cook here and a clean, clean there.
Here a kiss, there a hug, everywhere a snug, snug.

And on his farm he has a piglet
E-I-E-I-O!

With a gulp, gulp here and a hold me there.
Here a laugh, there a cry, everywhere are chubby thighs.
