I knew from the first time I fed Finley in the hospital that she was going to be a great eater. All you really have to do is glance at her thighs.
I decided to start her on rice cereal last week, then this week I gave her the real stuff. Carrots, peaches, beans and so forth. She went crazy for all of them. So crazy that now when I pull out a container of food, she grunts and growls and sometimes cries because I can't open it and get it in her mouth fast enough.

Hey! Buy the book called "Baby Wise". It's like a baby bible, but it's a short, easy read. One of the last chapters is titled, 'Starting Late' or something like that. Everyone I know who has read and used that book swears by it, good luck!
she is so cute. Every time I see new pictures of her I think of what a pretty little girl you guys have! I am not going to be home in Thanksgiving:( but we will be home during christmas but Its just so stinking cold then and you probably want them for your christmas cards. If you guys end up not getting them done for some reason, I will be going out in the spring/summer again.
Congrats on the eating! Good food choices too. She is so cute! Can't wait to meet her in real life.
