Christmas Vacation: The Day After Christmas

The boys spent all day on the snowmobiles. They were sweet enough to swing by the house to take their wives for a ride. Ha, ha, being sweet was not on their minds. Eliza was getting thrown off every 2 minutes. But she was loving it! For the first time I felt lucky to be the pregnant one.

Christmas Vacation: Christmas Afternoon

We headed to my parents house Christmas afternoon. The roads out there were the worst I had ever seen them. We got stuck on our way out and had to have my dad pull us home. While being towed I sat and took pictures while Devin held on for dear life. It was a crazy ride. We slid all over the place but had to keep up our speed so we didn't get stuck again. Then the guy's spent the rest of the day digging out people's stuck cars. Including a snow plow.

Then that evening we broke the record for the biggest snow man. (I'm pretty sure at least!)

Christmas Vacation: Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest

These pictures don't show very good images of what our sweater really looked like but you can take my word for it when I tell you they were, "Ugly Christmas Sweaters."

Christmas Vacation: Christmas Morning with the Belnap's

It was so fun watching Crew open his presents. Tearing off the paper was his favorite part. He hardly payed attention to what was inside. Once he had one present unwrapped it was time to grab another from the pile. I'm pretty sure he ended up opening everyone's presents.

My very talented mother-in-law made me the cute apron and place mats.

Christmas Vacation: Christmas Eve

Crew got his first nativity set and nativity finger puppets from Grandpa and GoGo.
Object of the game: To be the first team to blow up the balloons, stuff them in the stockings and slap the bow on the nose.

Christmas Vacation Day 2: Gingerbread Houses

Christmas Vacation Day 1: Christmas Party

Grandpa and Grandma Nelson hosted their annual Family Christmas Party. We ate delicious food, shared stories and laughs, played Fishy Fishy, and listened to Brinlee & Sheldon sing us Christmas songs. Thanks G & G for the fun night.

Jeff & Sadie Sabin

My little sis got married over the weekend. It was a beautiful cold December day. It was also Dev's and mine wedding day. Which made it fun to do the same routine we did 3 years earlier. Welcome to the family Jeff. We're so excited for you guys!

The Stockings Were Hung

Today I realized I had not put up our Christmas stockings. We don't have a fire place to hang them from, maybe that's why I forgot. Now we'll only get to enjoy them for a few days. I don't think they'll travel with us to Idaho but then what is Christmas morning without a stocking stuffed with goodies! Maybe I'll reconsider. I made these stockings for us last year. Is it bad that I already want to replace them and make new ones?
