Finley Turns 5

Finley chose to have a Beauty Boutique Party full of nail polishing, 

hairdos, a high heel piñata and a nail polish cake.

Finley is full of so much personality. She's a natural born leader with a huge heart who wants to grow up faster than we want her to. She adores her brothers and loves to compete and be involved with everything that Crew does.  

Christmas 2013

The kids wanted to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Idaho so we had to split it up a bit. 

We gave our presents to them on Christmas Eve Eve seeing how we can't travel with them all. Then Santa brought them his gifts in Idaho.

 We buy Legos for our kids and end up being the ones who put most of them together.

Family Photos

For the first time in our 8 years of marriage we had professional family photos taken.

Thanksgiving 2013

Grandpa and Grandma Belnap and uncle Andrew spent Thanksgiving in California.

We loved hosting them at our house for the holiday.

Finley learned how to bake pies.

The kids did some art with Grandpa.

 The boys spent hours building amazing Lego creations.

 We enjoyed some beautiful weather

and even spent a day at the beach exploring tide pools.

We also celebrated Crew's 7th Birthday with a movie, dinner and a family party.

 

Happy Halloween

After our failed attempt at dressing Gunnar as a Lion, we decided to go for something with a little less. 

Spiderman was the perfect fit. As was the Cowgirl and Ninja.

Crew Plays Flag Football

Devin has waited years for this moment. Okay, I have too!

For Crew to play football and for Devin to coach his team. 

There's nothing quite like father/son bonding through sports.

They had a great season and we can't wait for the next.

Back to School

Crew is in 1st grade and he LOVES it.

Finley started Preschool and was more than excited, her poses say it all.

And me and Gunnar can't get enough of each other.
