Devin and I journeyed on a 6.5 mile hike to the Hollywood sign. Once we reached the top there was a beautiful 360 degree view of Los Angeles.
This is the actual Batcave from the 60's TV series Batman. It was near our hike trail so we wanted to check it out.
This is the house my mother grew up in-along with her 7 siblings. Right in the heart of L.A. It's only a few minutes away from Devin work so we detoured here on our way to the hike. I had only seen it once and it was years ago and I wanted Devin to see it as well. The hill that this house is set on is one of the steepest hills in L.A.

This was so interesting....what an adventure.
I stayed a summer month living there before your mother and I were married. Had an accounting job downtown to make some extra money. It was fun being around her family. They are great people. Very unique artsy home inside. Mary, your grandmother, is great at decorating. They had a goat in the back yard "Stella". Also, your mother took piano lessons for years beneath the Hollywood sign. -a little Boyack history.
Cool. I love stuff like that!
