Date night the VEGAS way!

Out of all the times we've been to Vegas, we've never had a night out on the town. Eliza and Jason move next month which means our Vegas days are over. We decided to take one last trip there this weekend and go out with a bang. We got a babysitter, made some dinner reservations, got our drink on (Monster style), and went dancing.

CONFIDENCE IS...

One of the most important qualities you can teach your child. To have the courage to accomplish certain tasks. And that it's okay to fail but don't ever give up.

Crew learned this weekend how to ride his bike without training wheels. We couldn't have been prouder parents. Sounds funny I know-it's just ridding a bike. But the true joy came from Crew's reactions. He was self-assured, fearless and so proud. You almost would have thought he knew how to ride all along, it came so naturally to him.

As you go through these pictures you can see that the party gets more extravagant the longer we play. She invites more of her friends to join in and adorns them with accessories, (even Iron Man).

Christmas 2010: CONTESTS

My next 4 posts highlight our Christmas Break. We traveled to Idaho on Christmas Eve and stayed until the New Year. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to go sledding or build a snowman but all our other activities kept us busy.

If you had noticed the uglyness of what was growing on Devin's upper lip, NO, he wasn't growing it because he felt like it. It was all about the Ugly Mustache Contest. What you see in these pictures is ALL NATURAL. I'll let you be the judge of who's is the ugliest

We also had an Ugly Pajama Contest.

Devin wouldn't wear the silk leopard boxers I got him so he decided to wear an old pair of my pj's. Hence the 3 sizes too small.
