Happy Birthday Fin! Again!

We finally got around to singing to Finley for her 1 year birthday. She was so weirded out at first that I had to sit by her and stuff the cupcake in her face. Of course it only took one bite for her to realize the opportunity she was being given. Then she dug in.

Month of Mayhem

Finley's birthday was a week ago and we still haven't had a chance to give her a birthday cake. We've had a crazy busy month and the next few weeks aren't slowing down either. Last weekend my mom came to visit and three of my sisters stayed with us throughout the week. We love having company and love that we can share some of our favorite places with others.

my little bro jairus came to visit us last week. it's always a party when he's around. he's one of the most magnanimous and industrious people i know. jason and eliza joined us for the weekend where things got even more entertaining. we spent our time laying out, exercising, coloring hair, shopping, having dance parties, eating and best of all, laughing.

finley and hazel spent their first easter together. they couldn't celebrate without matching dresses so i had to put some together. we had the egg hunt at a park. fin found the chocolate bunny and was in heaven eating it, of course! crew gathered all the eggs in just a couple of short minutes.

as fun as the plastic eggs are on easter day, do they bother anyone else the day after? one second they are in the baskets the next they are all over my house. i've been picking them up all day. my back hurts!!
